Youth
Neighborhood House is an important force in the lives of Portland area students. Our highly-regarded school-based
programs promote educational success and family involvement for disadvantaged students. Our committed and
culturally-diverse staff are highly-effective at reaching out to low-income, recent immigrant and other diverse
students,and work closely with school staff to support the youth and their families.
Our programs for school-aged youth serve over 2,000 students at nine schools across the Portland area:
