Rental Assistance
Neighborhood House’s Rental Assistance program is designed to assist families pay rent in order to prevent homelessness. The program is given an allocation of funds for the year and it closes when all the funds have been utilized.
Eligibility
To use this program you must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline, with an income at or below the specified levels for the following household sizes:

In addition:
- You must be current residents of Multnomah County or those who intend to settle within the county limits upon receipt of assistance
- Your household must have attempted to access other public resources prior to accessing these funds
- Your household must participate in a case management plan
- Your household must have future earnings where rent is no more than 60% of their gross income
- Your household’s future earnings cannot be from a temporary source
- Your landlord must agree to all terms and conditions of the rental assistance agreement
